Background

CD3E is the CD3-epsilonpolypeptide, which together with CD3-gamma, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. The epsilon polypeptide plays an essential role in T-cell development. Defects in this gene cause immunodeficiency. This gene has also been linked to a susceptibility to type I diabetes in women. Recombinant human CD3E protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

FAQs for CD3 epsilon Recombinant Protein (NBP2-22752). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQ).

  1. I have a question about recombinant Human CD3 epsilon Protein (Cat # NBP2-22752: do you have gel images from non-reducing gel? Does the protein solution contain aggregates?
    • We do not have an image in non-reducing conditions. As for aggregation, it has a hydrophobic region, so it may have some aggregation when boiled. Therefore, we recommend heating to 37C rather than boiling when loading.
