Background
The enzyme IMPDH1 (Inosine-5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase 1) catalyzes the conversion of inosine
5'-phosphate (IMP) to xanthosine 5'-phosphate (XMP), the first committed
and rate-limiting step in the de novo synthesis of guanine nucleotides,
and therefore plays an important role in the regulation of cell growth. The enzyme is 514 aminoacids long, with a predicted molecular weight of 55 kDa.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are
guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
