ILT1/CD85h/LILRA2 Antibody (600007) [CoraFluor™ 1] Summary
Description |
CoraFluor(TM) 1 is a high performance terbium-based TR-FRET (Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) or TRF (Time-Resolved Fluorescence) donor for high throughput assay development. CoraFluor(IM) 1 absorbs UV light at approximately 340 nm, and emits at approximately 490 nm, 545 nm, 585 nm and 620 nm. It is compatible with common acceptor dyes that absorb at the emission wavelengths of CoraFluor(TM) 1. CoraFluor(TM) 1 can be used for the development of robust and scalable TR-FRET binding assays such as target engagement, ternary complex, protein-protein interaction and protein quantification assays. |

Background
LILRA2, also known as Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily A member 2, has a 483 amino acid long isoform that is 53 kDa and a short 466 amino acid isoform that is 51 kDa, acts as an activating receptor for eosinophils that elicited the release of cytotoxic granule proteins, de novo lipid mediator generation, and cytokine release through vesicular transport, but does not bind class I MHC antigens. Studies are being performed in relation to this protein and several diseases and disorders including leprosy, microscopic polyangiitis, systemic lupus, erythematosus, lupus erythematosus, hepatitis c, and hepatitis b. This protein has been shown to interact with EWSR1 and USP46 proteins in osteoclast differentiation, defense response, and signal transduction pathways.
Limitations
