Background

Component of the escrt-iii complex, which is required for multivesicular bodies (mvbs) formation and sorting of endosomal cargo proteins into mvbs. the mvb pathway mediates delivery of transmembrane proteins into the lumen of the lysosome for degradation. the escrt-iii complex is probably involved in the concentration of mvb cargo. in case of infection, the hiv-1 virus takes advantage of the escrt-iii complex for budding and exocytic cargos of viral proteins.

Flow Cytometry: Tenascin C Antibody (4C8MS) [NB110-68136] - An intracellular stain was performed on SK-MEL-28 cells with Tenascin C Antibody (4C8MS) NB110-68136 and a matched isotype control. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeablized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 2.5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature, followed by mouse F(ab)2 IgG (H+L) APC-conjugated secondary antibody (F0101B, R&D Systems).
