Background

AGR3 is a gene that encodes Anterior Gradient Homolog 3, a protein associated with breast cancer. Also known as Breat Cancer Membrane Protein 11, AG3 has a positive correlation with the expression of estrogen receptor. Its expression is negatively correlated with the expression of the EGF receptor. Because it is expressed in nearly three-quarters of breast cancer cells, it has high potential as a target for breast cancer therapy.

Western blot shows lysates of mouse lung tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.25 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Mouse Podoplanin Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3244) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for Podoplanin at approximately 35-42 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
