CXCR4 protein expression levels in lung tissue were examined by western blot. GAPDH served as an internal control (c, d; n = 3). Data are presented as the mean ± SD. #Value significantly greater than the corresponding value in saline-treated normoxic mice (##P 50 CTCs/ 2.5 ml blood) was processed via ficoll density centrifugation & the PBMC fraction was collected. Slides were stained for PSMA, EpCAM, sLex, & CXCR4 using the protocol as described in Figure S1.
