Human CXCL11/I-TAC Quantikine ELISA Kit Summary

Background
The Quantikine Human I-TAC Immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed to measure human I-TAC in cell culture supernates, serum, and plasma. It contains E. coli-expressed recombinant human I-TAC and has been shown to accurately quantitate the recombinant factor. Results obtained using natural human I-TAC showed linear curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtaine...d using the Quantikine kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for naturally occurring human I-TAC.

Background

Interferon-inducible T cell a chemoattractant (I-TAC), also known as SCYB9B, H174 and beta-R1, is a non-ELR motif-containing CXC chemokine. I-TAC shares 36% and 37% amino acid sequence homology with IP-10 and MIG , respectively. I-TAC is expressed at low levels in normal tissues, including thymus, spleen and pancreas.
