Background

Gasdermin D is a member of the gasdermin family. Members of this family appear to play a role in regulation ofepithelial proliferation. Gasdermin D has been suggested to act as a tumor suppressor. Alternatively splicedtranscript variants have been described. (provided by RefSeq)
