Using anti-Yo antibodies, three genes have been cloned (CDR 1-3). CDR2 suppresses the transcriptional activity and DNA binding of nuclear factor-kappa B by an unknown mechanism. The neuron specific expression of CDR2 is regulated by a post-transcriptional mechanism.

I'm looking for an antibody against human CDR2 to recognize thymic epithelial cells. You have several anti CDR2 antibodies. Are they against a thymic epithelial antigen or against the cerebellar degeneration-related protein 2, 62kDa?
- Yes, the specific antibody you have inquired about is against cerebellar degeneration-related protein 2, 62 kDa. Moreover, all of our CDR2 primaries are against the same target.

Do you have any further info regarding use of NB110-58345B in IHC? The customer is most interested to know if overnight incubation at 4C is recommended and also if the staining was performed using frozen or paraffin sections? Also, is any particular method of antigen retrieval recommended?
- We typically recommend overnight incubation at 4C, but the customer could certainly try 1 hr at RT as is commonly performed by many of our customers as well. This particular antibody has only been tested on paraffin embedded samples and has not yet been tested on frozen, so it cannot be guaranteed, but will most likely work. For the antigen retrieval we recommend our standard heat mediated citrate buffer at pH 6.0.
