LSP1 Antibody - BSA Free

Lymphocyte-specific protein 1 (LSP1), also known as 47 kDa actin-binding protein, 52 kDa phosphoprotein, and Lymphocyte-specific antigen WP34, is an intracellular F-actin binding protein. LSP1 is expressed in lymphocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, and endothelium. LSP1 is also found in activated T-lymphocytes. LSP1 is known to function in neutrophil motility regulation, adhesion to fibrinogen matrix proteins, and trans-endothelial migration. LSP1 is phosphorylated by casein kinase II, protein kinase C and MAPKAPK2. The phosphorylation by protein kinase C induces translocation of LSP1 from the cell membrane to the cytoplasm. Phosphorylation of LSP1 by MAPKAPK2 regulates neutrophil chemotaxis.
