FAQs for LRRK2 Peptide (NB300-268PEP). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQs).

  1. Can you provide us with a dilution this Peptide should be used at? Is their a recommendation concerning BSA or Milk powder blocking when using this peptide in combination with its appropriate antibody?
    • Our LRRK2 Peptide NB300-268PEP is designed to be used as a blocking peptide for NB300-268. We recommend using the peptide anywhere between 50-200 molar excess. We also recommend doing a titer to ensure proper blocking. We typically incubate the peptide with the antibody in PBS or TBS for 1 hour at room temperature with gentle shaking prior to incubation with the membrane. We have not noticed any interaction of the peptide with milk or BSA once antibody has been incubated with the peptide before incubating in a blocking buffer. Our blocking buffer contains 1% BSA, 5% non-fat dry milk in TBST.

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
