Specificity
At least four isoforms of IRAK1 are known to exist; this antibody will detect all four isoforms. IRAK1 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other members of the IRAK protein family.

Background

IRAK is partially responsible for IL1-induced upregulation of the transcription factor NF-kappa B. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
