FCRL4/FcRH4 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of Human Tonsil using Goat Anti-Human FCRL4/FcRH4 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2426) at 1 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Goat IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC004). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell membrane in lymphocytes. Background

FcRH4, also known as IRTA1 (immunoglobulin superfamily receptor translocation associated 1), is a member of the Ig superfamily. It shares sequence homology with the classical Fc receptors. FcRH4 is preferentially expressed in B cells and contains three potential ITIM motifs in its extracellular domain. The gene for FcRH4 is localized to the human chromosome Iq 21‑23 region, a hotspot for translocation events.
