Fc gamma receptor III (RIII), also called CD16, is an activating natural killer (NK) cell receptor that binds the Fc portion of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies with a role in host defense. Fc gamma RIII has two forms, Fc gamma RIIIA (CD16a) and Fc gamma RIIIB (CD16b). The human CD16a protein is 254 amino acids (aa) in length with a theoretical molecular weight (mw) of 29 kDa and human CD16b protein is 233 aa in length with a calculated mw of 26 kDa. Cells were then incubated with Rabbit anti-Fc gamma RIII (CD16) antibody (NBP3-32127) at 1/100 dilution in 1% BSA in PBST overnight at 4 ℃. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (iFluor™ 488) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the secondary antibody only control. Nuclear DNA was labelled in blue with DAPI. Beta tubulin (red) was stained at 1/100 dilution overnight at +4℃.
