Description
LILRA3, also known as Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily A member 3, has 3 isoforms, a 439 amino acid isoform that is 47 kDa, a 375 amino acid isoform that is 40 kDa, and a 456 amino acid isoform that is 49; detected in B-cells, and at lower levels in natural killer (NK) cells, and in peripheral blood monocytes and lung; lacks a transmembrane region and is presumed to be a soluble receptor and may act as soluble receptor for class I MHC antigens. Studies on this protein have shown relationship with the following diseases and disorders: multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis, ascariasis, trichuriasis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatism, interferon, and hepatitis c. This protein has been shown to interact with EWSR1 and USP46 proteins in osteoclast differentiation, defense response, and signal transduction pathways.
