Background

Serine/threonine Kinase 33 (STK33) is expressed at high levels in testis and the fetal lung and heart, and at lower levels in a number of other tissues. However, STK33 is different form the other serine/threonine kinases in that it is not expressed in neural tissues. STK33 is thought to be involved in the phosphorylation of vimentin. Additionally, STK33 has been identified as a synthetic lethal in KRAS mutant lung cancers.

Limitations

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
