Lewy Body Disease is caused by the presence of the buildup of an abnormal protein, called Lewy Bodies, in the brain. Symptoms associated with Lewy Body disease include worsening mental abilities, hallucinations, depression, drowsiness, tremors, and slowed movement, among others. Typically, people are diagnosed with this disease when they are fifty or older, and unfortunately, no cure has been found for the disease.
