Description
RAB40B, also known as Ras-related protein Rab-40B, is a 31 kDa 278 amino acid protein. The primary function of RAB40B is to encodes a yeast like protein. It is thought that RAB40B may play a part in the regulation of secretory vesicles. Current research is being conducted on RAB40B in relation to thyroiditis. RAB40B is linked to the cell growth, cell differentiation, secretion, protein modification and protein ubiquitination where it interacts with TCEB1, CCDC64B, TCEB2, FHIT and WFDC1.
